Grace Hides the Predator

This one is for the ladies. 

If you’re a woman with even the slightest amount of muscle, chances are you’ve heard it.

“You look manly.”
“You’re too masculine.”
“You need to lay off the roids.”

Most of us learn to take it with a grain of salt. Hell, I usually laugh and tell them I eat ‘roids’ like candy.

But this design has a little more meaning behind it.

GRACE HIDES THE PREDATOR.

I chose the snow leopard not only because it’s my favorite animal, but because they’re known as “Ghosts of the Mountains.” Quiet. Elusive. Powerful. They don’t need to announce what they are for you to know you probably shouldn’t fuck with one.

And I think there’s something beautifully feminine about that.

Women in the fitness industry take a lot of shit. Our bodies are picked apart. Too muscular. Not muscular enough. Too lean. Too masculine. Too much. Too little.

And most of the time, we handle it with grace.

We smile.
We laugh.
We keep moving.

But grace should never be mistaken for weakness.

Because underneath it can live something strong, fierce, relentless and completely capable of showing its teeth when necessary.

Sometimes the predator stays hidden.

Sometimes she doesn’t.
